Mark Green had plenty of reason to smile at the latest round of the BRCA British National 1:8 Championship.  Having dominated the opening round of the championship at Mendip the winner of the Pre Worlds was again the man to beat in Round 2 at Crystal Palace.

Driving his Mega powered 960, Green TQ'd for the event before going on the win the 30 minute final by a clear 2 lap margin over Neil Diver.  Recording the fastest lap of the race with a time of 12:35, Mark's time broke the track record for 1:8 which previously stood at 12:44.

With two clear victorys to his credit the Serpent Factory driver will go for a hat trick of wins in the 1:8 class when the BRCA Championship moves to the Tibshelf track in two weeks time (13th May).
