Alessio Mazzeo heads qualifying in Belgium (03/05/2007)

Young Italian racer Alessio Mazzeo, driving a Max powered Serpent 720 is topping the timesheets after the first day of qualifying at this weeks European 'B' Championships held at the fast Roeselare track in Belgium. Alessio currently holds a 2.5 second advantage over second position racer Erik Dankel with Walti Beat in 3rd position overnight.


With one more round left to be run on Saturday, other Serpent 720 drivers showing their skill on the track are Austrian driver Daniel Tomaschko in 6th, Mirko Morgenstern in 10th, Remy Moller in 15th and Ralf Krause in 17th.
