Serpent Driver Development program member Kyle Branson put in another superb drive in the 3rd Round of the BRCA 1:10 National Championship at Halifax last weekend to claim his first podium of the season.

Qualifying 10th on the grid for the A Final, Branson was forced to use the heats to find a set up for his Mega powered Serpent 720 as rain kept him from practising on Saturday.

Using the new LCG chassis, the 13-year-old drove a superb 30 minute final to finish 3rd behind Serpent Factory driver and Round 1 winner Mark Green to claim his first BRCA Championship podium finish.  Fourth in the opening two rounds, the result sees the promising young racer move in to 2nd in the championship standings.

Kyle's next outing is on June 10th when the championship moves to the Cotswold track.
