Hat trick for Sotiropoulos in Greek Nationals (10/06/2007)

Greek team Serpent driver Giannis Sotiropoulos completed a hat trick of National Championship victories over the weekend when he took victory in the third Round of the Greek 1:8 Championship.

Racing for the first time this season at the Patra track, Sotiropoulos qualified his Mega MF powered Serpent 960 P2 for the A Final but it took just a few laps for him to take the lead of the race and criuse home to a 3 lap winning margin. The result sees the current National Champion remain unbeaten this year.

In the B Final it was also an impressive victory for John Fokianos who steered his Serpent 960 home in first place 4 laps up on his nearest rival.
