Serpent enjoyed an all 960 podium line-up at the latest round of the Irish National Championship at the St.Annes track on Sunday when Clive Connolly led home a trio of Serpent drivers.

Having TQ'd for the event, the reigning Champion controlled the race from the front to win ahead of young charger Sean Doyle and Championship leader Darragh Fox.

The win, Connolly's first of the season, moves him up to joint second in the standings with Doyle while Fox sits at the top of the standings on 295 points.

In the 1:10 National Championship, run during the same meeting, it was also a superb result for Serpent with no less than seven 720 making it into the A Final.  John Haugh and Oisin O'Briain ensured a podium double for Serpent finishing 2nd and 3rd respectively in the 30 minute encounter with their Mega powered examples.

Drivers have just two weeks to prepare for the 4th round of the Irish National Championship which runs on July 1, again at the St. Annes track which is situated on the outskirts of Ireland's capital city Dublin.
