The final North Region qualifing race for the German Nationals took place last weekend at Tuttendorf and it was an all Serpent affair in 1:10.

Ralf Krause TQ'd his Serpent 720/Mega MF combination ahead of team-mate Andreas Giesa with Guttschau making it a Serpent 1,2, 3 in at the top of the time sheets.

In the Final, which saw no less than six 720's line up on the grid, Krause and Giesa enjoyed a superb battle for 1st before Krause lost 2nd gear allowing Giesa to storm home for the win.  A great drive by Guttschau to second ensured a podium double for Serpent.  Despite  loosing 2nd gear Krause still managed 6th which was enough for him to lift the North German Regional championship title.

In 1:8, Giesa brought his Serpent 960 home in second to secure the Regional title and a place in the upcoming German 1:8 Nationals.
