SangJun and DooHyun win latest Serpent Korea Cup encounter (24/07/2007)

The third round of the Serpent Korea Cup took place at the Kirina Circuit last weekend and it was Serpent's 720 and 960 that took the top honours.
Serpent Driver Development team member Nam SangJun dominated qualifying in the 30 degree plus temperatures TQ'ing for both classes with his Mega powered '07 chassis'.
The 18-year-old easily converted his 1:10 pole position into victory winning the 40-minute final by a clear 2 laps. His team mate Ahn Hyun Ho made it a podium double for Serpent finishing in 3rd with his 720.
Starting from the pole in the 1:8 Final, the 2006 KMRCA 1/8 Korean National Champion was struck by engine trouble which forced him to retire 1/4 way into the race. This left Kyun DooHyun to lead the way with his 960 '07 and take the win in the all Serpent final.
DooHyun was joined on the podium by 960 FD drivers NamGung Wook and Jang JiHwan.
The Serpent Korea Cup now moves to the Mil Yang Circuit for the fourth round where Team Serpent will be looking to continue their excellent showing in the Series.
