1:8 Serpent Buggy TQ's at Quakenbrück (17/01/2008)

Fresh from his electric buggy win in Hohenems, Jörn Neumann was off to Quakenbrück with his 1:8 Nitro prototype Serpent buggy where he would make his debut with new engine sponsor OS.

Working with his mechanic and Serpent designer Gerd Strenge, Jörn TQ'd for the indoor event winning each of his heats by a comfortable 1 lap margin over the second placed driver.

In the Semi Final he was again very fast car but while holding a one lap lead he suffered a plug failure ending his race.

Despite this bad luck Jörn was very pleased with the progress and speed of the new Serpent 1:8 buggy and will be back in action with the car next weekend at the Kyosho Masters at Ostrava in the Czech Republic.
