Mark Green ( (966/Nova) took the win  at the end of a very hard final with Salven (966/Mega) in 3rd position completing the podium.

Overall 5 Serpent 966 in the main final,  already the top 4 qualifiers and then also John Ermen made a strong come-back in semi and was the 5th Serpent 966 on the grid.

The final started with a wet-damp track, making it necessary to start on aqua-foams or very soft tyres.  For the 2nd part of the race the track dried up .

Serpent 966 showed great performance at this EFRA GP.

For sure also Mega power helped a lot to achieve this.
Top qualifier
Top 4 in qualifying
Fastest lap-time in qualifying
Fastest top-speed with 112,5 km/h
Victory
Fastest laptime in the final

Jilles Groskamp ended in 4th postion with Serpent 966/Mega, but tech-controll found his tank too big. Anyway Jilles made a great race and got used to the 1/8 Serpent/Mega Powerpack very quickly and with the right tyres in the beginning would have been able to battle for the podium for sure.

We like to thank all racers for being there and the organizing club for staging a great race. Team Serpent More news: check http://www.redrc.net/2009/04/mark-green-wins-dutch-18th-efra-gp/
