Germany-west: Serpent wins in 1/10 and 1/8 (17/05/2010)

Last race for the German west champs was in Duren, Germany.
In 1/10 scale it was a win for Lucin Zens with Serpent 733.
In 1/8 scale Class-2 a nice podium finish for young talent Roenicke with Serpent 966
and in the 1/8 scale class-1 Salven won the race, just ahead of very fast Hepp in 2nd both with Serpen t 966.
Hepp recorded the fastest lap-time of the final and was really showing excellent pace. A small error on the 1st lap of the final prevented a very close battle with Salven for the win. Maybe next time ... the young guns are comming closer ...
Thanks to the club in Duren, the renovated track has really become nicer to race again !
