Sunday brought a change in the weather and the level of tracktion – it rained.
Drivers had enough time to prepare for the new conditions with tires, engines etc.
After some lower finals it was time for the real thing fighting about the championship.
Despite the wet conditions the racing got exciting and pretty close racing took place!
In the end the final standings was like this.
1:10 Scale Final
1st, Per-Ola Hard, Serpent 733
2:nd, Mikael Fransson, Serpent 733
3:rd, Tomas Andersson, Serpent 733
4:th, Staffan Karlsson, Serpent 733

2nd, Marcus Lindner, Serpent 966
3:rd, Bjorn Ohlsson, Mugen
4:th, Magnus Bengtsson, Mugen
5:th, P-H Persson, (not sure of his car)
Despite the wet Sunday it was a great event hosted by the club in Vaxjo, included a nice opening ceremony with national anthumn and showdriving by Viktor Hallrup, normally a prodriver in the STCC series racing a 1:1 Chevrolet Cruze with Rickard Rydell.
Saturday night saw a barbeque event with over 60 people, so a nice racing weekend.
Personally it is also a great feeling to win the Swedish Championships!!
Thanks to my dad Kent for great pitwork, and to my sponsors; Serpent, Xceed, GQ Tires, OS Engines and Runnertime. Next race for me is the Euros in Ettlingen Germany!
