Glyn Beal takes British title with Serpent 733
Glyn Beal has successfully defended his Sports GT title after victory at the Colchester circuit.
Round 7 of the British Nationals were at the Colchester circuit on the 10th / 11th September. The weather for the weekend was mainly dry and sunny and in qualifying Glyn took a comfortable FTD with his 220mm Serpent 733.
In the final Glyn got an excellent start off the line and soon opened up a decent lead. At the end of the 30 minute race Glyn took the win several laps ahead of second place. With this result Glyn has now retained the title for the seventh year in a row.
In the 200mm Touring class Mark Green took FTD and also the win in the final ahead of Championship leader Joe Kerry in second, both with Serpent 733.
Joe is now the strong favourite to secure the 200mm title at the last round of the championship in three weeks time.
