Fischer reports from ETS Italy ( english and german) (24/01/2012)

Friday’s practice

Unfortunately the practice did not well at all, the car felt relatively OK but it was too slow and after the first timed practice I was on 17th place :-(! In the second session it was even worth, I was 21st!)

1st heat
I could gain the lead but unfortunately I made 3 or 4 small mistakes, I lost 5 seconds and I finished on 10th position.

2nd heat
In this heat, the car was not so good and very difficult to drive so I was only 14th!

3rd heat
I experimented on some slight setup changes, rear and front springs, Shock/Oil, as well as the geometry of the car. After these changes the car felt much better and I was on 9th position.

4th and final heat
I have changed again the oil of the shocks and the geometry of the car and was still able to fight for the A-Main with a gap about only 0,4 sec. but at the end I qualified 11th.

1st B Final
I had a clean start and I pulled away from the field and took the win of this first final. The gap between me and the rest of the field was about 3 seconds.

2nd B Finale
I was only 9th due to a broken gear diff. immediately after the start.

3rd Final
At the start I was able to pull away and after 2 minutes I built a lead about 2 seconds but due to a small mistake, lying on the roof, I lost 7 seconds. Last but not least I finished the B-Main on 3rd position.

Freitag Training

Im Training lief es nicht ganz so gut leider, auto fuhlte sich relativ ok an aber war leider zu langsam und nach dem ersten gezeitetem Training fur die Gruppeneinteiling lag ich auf platz 17. :-(! Im zweiten Training lief es nicht viel besser leider dort war ich dann 21. ! )

1. Vorlauf
Ich konnte mich in führung setzen aber leider hatte ich 3 - 4 kleine Fehler die mich 5 Sekunden gekostet haben, aber ich noch einen 10. Lauf schreiben konnte.

2. Vorlauf
In diesem Vorlauf war das Auto nicht so gut und sehr schwierig zu fahren daher konnte ich nur einen 14. Lauf schreiben !

3. Vorlauf
Fur diesen Vorlauf hatte ich einige Sachen geandert, Federn V+H, Ol, Ausfederweg, was schon deutlich besser war und ich einen 9. Lauf schreiben konnte.

4. Vorlauf
Ihr habe ich nochmal hinten etwas am Öl geandert und etwas am Ausfederweg und konnte mich fast doch noch fur das A Finale Qualifizieren mit einem 6. Lauf mit nur 0,4 sek Ruckstand auf Platz 4 und das ware das sichere A Finale gewesen.
Aber es sollte nicht sein und ich startete nur auf Platz 11.

1. B Finale
Vom Start weg konnte ich gut mein Rennen durchziehen und konnte das erste Finale mit knapp 3 Sekunden Vorsprung gewinnen.

2.B Finale
Kurz nach dem Start ging mein Kegeldiff kaputt und ich wurde leider nur 9. !

3. B Finals
Kurz nach dem Start konnte ich mich absetzen und hatte 2 Min vor schluss einen 2 Sekunden Vorsprung, aber ich machte einen kleinen Fehler und blieb auf dem Dach liegen und verlor knapp 7 Sekunden aber konnte das B Finale noch als 3. beenden.
