Holland: Fischer reports on ETS with 411 (04/06/2012)

Practise
In practise the 411 felt really good right from the start. At the start of the run sliding a bit, but became really good later in the run. I changed rear blocks from 3.0 to 2.5 , and now the 411 also felt really good at the start of a run.

Heat 1
I was in the top-heat, and 4 drivers including me, were very close together, I was able to lead after 4 minutes and drive fastest lap of that heat with 14.8 sec but made an error just before the end end finisihed 4th only.

Heat 2
This time I started on used tyres, and went fine, but after 1 lap more the tyres broke and I had to stop.

Heat 3
I started on my 2nd set of Ride tyres, just like most others too. After a few laps I was leading the heat, its was very close between 2 or 3 drivers. In the end I could keep the lead and win the 3rd heat for Serpent. TQ run.

Heat 4
This heat on used tyres, car was very good, but I made a driving error and dropped to 6th. Without the error 3rd place was feasable. ! Now my end-ranking was 7th, so still good for the A-MAINS.

A-MAINS
The weather forecast for Sunday was very bad, so ETS decided to run as many finals on Saturday night.

Final 1.
My start was excellent and I was on inside of Jilles, ready to overtake, but we touched and we both spun out.
Final 2.
This time I was more carefull at the start, but got hit from behind, so was back on 9th spot. I managed to race well in this final and got back to 5th spot, which meant 7th overall, as Sunday rained out.

Review:
The Serpent S411 TE is also a very fast car to run outdoors on asfalt tracks. I have been able to show the sheer speed, with very fast laptimes and TQ in 3rd qualfier. Just need to make less errors and more luck in the finals to make the podium,.

ETS Round 5 Apeldoorn

Training:
Im Training fühlte sich das Auto schon sehr gut an es war immer sehr gut am Ende, aber der Anfang vom Lauf war es am Schieben ! Also änderte ich an der Hinterachse die Vorspur von 3.0 auf 2.5 grad welches viel besser war und das Auto sich jetzt auch am Anfang gut anfühlte !

Vorlauf 1

Im ersten Vorlauf war es sehr eng zwischen 4 fahren unteranderem auch mir und nach ca. 4 min ging ich sogar in Führung mit einem 0,7 sec Vorsprung und ich fuhr die schnellste Runde mit 14.8 sec, aber leider machte ich einen Fehler kurz vor Schluss und bin dadurch auch Platz 4 zurückgefallen.

Vorlauf 2

Im zweiten Vorlauf auf gebrauchten Reifen war mein Auto ganz ok aber sofort nach der 1. Runde ging mein Reifen kaputt und ich müsste aufhören.

Vorlauf 3

Hier fuhr ich meinen 2. Neuen Satz Reifen wie ein großes Teil Rest Feldes auch ! Ich konnte mich in Führung setzen es war sehr eng wieder zwischen 2 fahren aber am Ende konnte ich den Vorlauf Durchgang gewinnen und schrieb somit den ersten TQ Lauf für mich und Serpent !

Vorlauf 4

Hier war das Auto mit gebrauchten sehr gut aber ich hatte leider wieder einen Fehler drin und wurde damit nur 6 in dem Durchgang ohne diesen Fehler hatte es ein 3. Werden können !

A Finale

Dadurch das die Wettervorhersage für Sonntag sehr schlecht aus sah sind wir Samstags schon 2. Finale Gefahren.

1. Am Start hatte ich eine gute Möglichkeit Jilles zu überholen aber es ging leider schief und wir sind beide ausgefallen, (rennunfall) !
2. Dieses mal machte mich Easy am Start und wurde leider von einem Auto hinter mir rausgeholt und war in der 1 Ründe schon nur noch 9. Aber ich konnte mich noch auf Platz 5 zurück kämpfen aber wurde dann leider gesamt nur 7.

Fazit: Der Serpent S411 TE ist draußen ein sehr gutes Auto und ich habe die Pace gezeigt was mit dem Auto gehen kann und mit etwas mehr Glück und vielleicht 1 oder 2 Fehler weniger wäre auch vielleicht TQ drin gewesen !
