Racereport Pontus Larsson from Sweden (21/05/2018)

Race number 2 in MSC cup here in Sweden. In Mjölby May the 19:th.
This time everything worked very well.
Pontus was fastest all day. I was TQ
Did win 2 qualification rounds and won the semi. I had car 2 in the final after Jessica Pålsson.
The opponents in this race was very high compare to earlier race last year
in this cup. Many top drivers from Sweden. We were 9 SERPENT cars in this race.
Serpent family in Sweden is growing.
We did not change the setup, just tires and swaybar. The car was very good/stable and fast.
The track was very loose at the beginning and became high grip at the end.
A solid win in the semi and time to start the final.
In the final I and Jessica had the same pace at the beginning, then I was hit by another car from behind
and she got away with a gap for 10 sec. I pushed to close the gap but at the finnish I was 30 sec behind Jessica.
TQ and 2:nd place. Great, I am very happy.
