Andrea Catanzani reports GT euros in Zagreb (04/07/2023)

As we got to the track we finished breaking in our engines for the race, after which we started testing a few things on the car. The basic setup was a good starting point and the changes we made were very few. Since the track had a low level of grip we decided to soften the oil of the two differentials, we went from 1,000,000 in front to 500,000 up to 300,000, and behind instead from 50,000 to 30,000.

Having done this, in the first two days we saw that we were very competitive and could fight for the first places. The last change we made before qualifying was to put soft springs on the shock absorbers, yellow at the front and yellow at the rear.

Qualifying was perfect, two first places and a second place ensured us pole positions!!

In the final we set off very calmly knowing that the first refueling was 7 minutes away, after a small mistake in the pits we went out in 4th position at the first pit stop, but with the speed of our car we immediately succeeded in a few laps to recover some positions and we reached the first position again.

It's a pity that shortly after the plug decided to abandon us in the best moment. We lost too much time and we weren't able to do better than 6th position. But we still manage to do the fastest lap of the race 17.604!!!!
