Last weekend we had the first Dutch National on the Model Racing Club Real 80 track.
I struggled in the beginning a lot with the extremely bumpy track and I just couldn't find a good fix to it.
But our team worked a lot and finally we all had a good setup.
The result in the end was extremely good, we had 5 cars in the NK final and 6 in the Nomac cup.
We were actually heading to a full Serpent podium but Julius Kolff got engine problems while leading the race.
Although I lost the win at the end due to a messy last pitstop (when my mechanic dropped the car when the roll bar came loose), I am extremely pleased with the result.
Congratulations to my friend Ricardo Hofmeijer for the win, he also had the fastest lap in the final, the only sub 14 seconds lap!!
