Single piece engine block machined from a single block of aluminium. Suitable for 21 size engines. Will suit almost all Serpent chassis, but not the Veteq.

Machined from a single block of aluminium, Serpent is pleased to present our latest optional part, the engine monoblock. Available for both 21 and 12 size engines and for use in the Serpent 710 and 950 family of cars, these new items not only look great but perform too.

With the 12 size version coming in anodised orange and the 21 version in silver, these blocks ensure the engine mounting points are kept aligned reducing stress on the crankcase allowing the engine to rev freer. The extra material used in the blocks, and with the addition of fins, also allow extra cooling to the crankcase and ensure the centre of gravity is kept as low as possible.
