- 2007 will see the 31th running of the annual Florida Winternats held at the ultra challenging and completely unforgiving Ft. Myers track in Florida. The opening gas race of the season it attracts many internationals racers from all over the world and this year like previous years Serpent will be sending a team from Europe to take on the US racers in the back yard.

The Apolaro Report - Florida Winternats (2008/02/18)
The Florida Winernats, often referred to as the unofficial World Championships, saw the 2008 international Nitro season kick off last weekend and one of the leading entries for Team Serpent was DJ Apolaro who was racing his 720 '08 in the 1:10 Touring Class.
