The end of an era is almost upon us. myTSN, the rc community site that saw millions of visitors read reports from racers around the world, is about to be taken off the cyberwaves.
Launched in 2000, myTSN which stood for My Team Serpent Network, was brainchild of Serpent founder Pieter Bervoets who wanted to give racers the opportunity to share their racing experiences with fellow racers around the globe.
After six years of serving the sport well, myTSN and myrcworld.net will shortly be replaced by the all new Serpent.com site which is set to keep racers right up to date with the latest product and racing news.
Popular features of myTSN will remain including the product search function which has been updated to make it easier to find information about the thousands of Serpent competition products and parts.
The new site, which will bring a totally fresh new look to Serpent's internet presence, will also feature RSS feeds giving those of you with your own rc website the chance to carry the latest news from Team Serpent.
While racers will no longer be able to write their own reports and the forums will discontinue, Serpent.com will continue to bring the thousands of daily visitors race news from around the globe both at international and local level competition.
To everyone that contributed to the myTSN community, Serpent Motorsport would like to say a big Thank You. We hope you enjoy the new Serpent.com site as much and that you will continue to keep us informed of your successes so that we can continue to keep the world wide Serpent community right up to date.
So when is the big day? The technical brains behind the new Serpent.com tell us that the new site should be online just in time for Santa to check out before he heads off to work on Christmas eve.
