Back in August Serpent hooked up with Champ Car star Sebastien Bourdais and his Newman Haas Lanigan Team Crew Chief Pedro Campuzano ahead of the World Series race at Assen to sample the F180.
Both enjoyed driving the unique 1:8 formula car and are now proud owners of the r/c car.
Last weekend the team where in Australia where Sebastien won the event to secured his fourth consecutive World Series title.
Both had their F180s with them and in the lead up to the race Pedro managed to take some time out and bring his F180 to Gold Coast Model Raceway thanks to Helmut Rauch from Serpent dealer Trackside RC.
With his car painted in the same distinctive McDonalds livery as Sebastien's full size Champ Car, Pedro put his F180 through its paces at the 251-meter long r/c track.
Unfortunately promotional committments meant Sebastien was unable to take his F180 to the Gold Coast Model Raceway track but the team are off to Mexico City next where they hope to find a local r/c track on which to have more fun with the r/c formula race car.
