Multiple retired racing driver Julius Kolff is set to participate at the first round of the South African Nationals. The race will be held at the Thunder Valley Raceway track close to Johannesburg.
“My work as a KLM pilot takes me to many places around the world and for a while I’ve been looking to combine RC with work. Johannesburg was added about 6 months ago to the 777 network and after some e-mails with Dave Wiseman, the Serpent distributor in SA, I decided to compete in the 6/7 March race.”

Hi racers!
I ran my first race with the 966 after my return to Serpent at the Cerdanyola Modelcar Track.
Where in one month the first race of the Spanish Championship will be.
So it’s a good opportunity to test the car with different setups and get confident with the track.
We arrived at the track on Saturday morning (the race was only for one day), and the track was very dirty. After some practise the car feels ok and the race starts.
Because I didn’t know the track very well, i crashed my 966 in the first two runs!

At the toyfair in Nurnberg from 4 till 10 february 2010 Serpent will release the Serpent S100 World GT car.
This Link type 1/10 scale pan-car uses the basis of the S120 and S120 Link car.
Its shares the top quality finish of all components with the other Serpent pancars and also the craftmanship and attention to detail. A pure racing car.

WINTERSEASON OPENED IN FINLAND
Maybe not victory in the race, but definitely for Serpent and Tom Kalves as he managed to take third place in the high level competition C-12 class 30.1.2010.

Agustin Cutini joins Team Serpent Argentina
The fastest young gun in the Argentinean R/C Circus, Agustin Cutini, has joined Team Serpent for the 2010 season. Agustin will be driving all the Serpent nitro line up, the 733, 966 and 811

Even though there was no victory this past weekend, I don’t think we could have asked for a better start to being part of Team Serpent……
