Hello everybody!
Last week-end we were in Montecarlo for the last EFRA GP of the year.
Monaco is well known for it's great weather all aroun the world, but as we arrived at the track on friday we found a cloudy and cold morning..the track was still wet but the weather foracast promised a sunny and warm week-end..in fact at midday the sun started to shine and he went on until the end of the week-end.
Two weeks before we had the italian Championship in Fiorano and since my car was working great there we decided to leave all like it was; we put the car on the track and we realized that Fiorano's...

I know this track since my beginnings 16 years ago, so it wasn’t so hard for me… ;-)
I improved the car constantly, thanks to testing and to speaking with Andrea Cristiani about the different ways to follow and try for the set-up…
I qualified for the semi-final. I was quite fast in the semi, but ran out of fuel after 9’50. In fact, the tyres wear was important, and the consumption was higher due to small tyres… But I had to try, and it was a mistake…
So I then pushed a lot, and managed...

TAIWAN GP National Race with serpent race round1.
This is first race we change the rule into 7 mins Qualification , so all drivers need to refuel during 7 mins qualification.

Last weekend it was time to open the west german 1/12 season. The race was held at the beautiful race arena Megadrom Geilenkirchen. All drivers entried in the very popular 10.5 category, including Serpents Markus Mobers, Corallys eurochamp Marc Fischer and eurofinalist Tim Altmann, who recently switched to the Serpent team.
In practice Markus already showed that his two wins at the EPS1 ( European Pan Series www.epsraces.net) were not just an one day act, he was outpacing Marc Fischer once again.
Tim Altmann was struggeling in the beginning, due to lack of experience with the S120. After...

The last EFRA GP in 2009 in Monaco of all places ;) More gambling ?
Fabulous victory for Andrea Cristiani with Serpent 966, 2.5 laps clear of WC finalist Robin d'Hondt from Belgium, and a super 3rd place for French driver Serge Christiany, also with Serpent 966 and in 4th 40+ EC Champion Jackly Mouton with Serpent 966 as well, Smolderen, Lorenzi too, Serpent driver Riccobonno made it into the Final, but only made few laps and was out too soon, stll making it 6 x 966 out of 10.

Dani Vega, the famous Spanish racer ( mainly known in offroad ) picked up a test with Serpent 966 at the last Spanish Nats in Madrid, invited by Serpent Spain.
The 2004 National 1/8 onroad champ was still doing well, taking a 4th spot direct into the final with Serpent 966/Orion. As he was not exactly in the fastest heat, so thats a pretty amazing result, not having raced 1/8 scale onroad for a long time.

Serpent 733 dominates the second Round of the Florida Series
Last weekend we had the 2nd Round of the Florida Series in the Famous Ft Myers Track. Weather was looking really good especially because a cold front was coming, so finally some cooler temps in sunny Florida

Tobias Hepp in the 1/8 class and Sebastian Buerge in the 1/10 class are the first champions in the newly established NRW Challenge (NRW = German State North Rhine-Westphalia), a series of three races held in the last three month on the permanent tracks of Dueren, Oberhausen and Bad Breisig.
A total of 72 racers, 32 in 1/8 scale and 40 in the 1/10 200mm category entered the three races which all were held at positive atmosphere and with hot racing action. Young driver Ricardo Henriques, was able to secure the 4th spot in the Portugal Cup.
The race was made under super weather conditions on the nice track of Vila Real.
