Hi Racers
As most people know the result from the world championship i will do this from a more technical side of things, There are other reports on this site to read also,
1st i would like the congratulate Lamberto Collari on his 9th title, It seems he still has the skills to drive fast ;)
Ok this track is very different in that it is so big ( full throttle for 6-7 secs) . The first thing that you think is that you will need a very long 2nd gear so to get good top speed, the only problem here is that the infield needs to pick up 2nd gear at 2 points and then this makes the long gear way...
PEO REPORT SWEDISH NATS ÖREBRO 5-6/2009 (09/09/2009)

Last weekend the Swedish Nats was held in Örebro, the track is very big with fast and flowing corners, normally the racing is very close on this fast track.
Friday was practice day, after heavy rain during the night it took some hours before the track was drivable, once it dried is showed that the grip was ok and the track a bit bumpy in some fast corners. Most drivers went out to find a good setup and testing engines and more.
Saturday saw four rounds of 7min EFRA rules qualifications, despite some light rain the qualifying could be completed in decent conditions and the racing was close...
Slovanic Cup, Belarus; Results 1/8 scale (08/09/2009)

We got 20 pilots: 18 from Belarus and 2 from Ukraine.
1-st place - Vladimir Boiko- Ukraine.
2 place -Oleg Ivanov- Ukraine.
3 place -Dmitri Kuzmichev- Belarus.
Cup's opening took place at the main square of the town. Town's administration was presented at opening. We've got lots of attention from local mass media.

Spain: Jacky Mouton European Champion with 966 (06/09/2009)

Jacky Mouton from France Tq-ed the Masters 1/8 scale class at the European Championships in Madrid, Spain.
In the final he had a very good start and never looked back and took the win a lap clear with his NR powered Serpent 966.
3 Serpent 966 in the main final with Eric Nougier, and Spanish Tomas !
USA: Qualifying a the Nats GP 1/10 and 1/8 (06/09/2009)

In 1/10 some of the Serpent drivers were able to improve and move up quite a lot. Paolo was in 2nd after the first day, but was less lucky the 2nd.
Apolaro in 5th, Paolo in 6th, Jackson in 9th and Nigel in 19th, so with 3 in the top 10 a good result with Serpent 733.
In 1/8th Palo was also 2nd after the 1s day, but dropped to 3rd, still an excellent result. In the end its Paolo in 3rd, Apolaro in 8th, Jackson in 14th and Desoto in 15th. So also here with Serpent 966 a good showing.
Weather for the sunday finals look great again.

Serpent's 733 claimed a debut win on its first Irish outing over the weekend when Keith Dempsey took his Max powered example to victory at the inaugural Irish Grand Prix hosted by the ORCA Club at their St.Annes track in Dublin.
USA Nats Toledo: qualifying started (03/09/2009)

In Toledo the 1st round of qualifying has been raced, and more heats to come today friday.
For Serpent its Morganti on good pace right away wioth both 733 and 966.
Other fast contenders for Serpent are DJ Apolaro, Vincent Jackson and De Soto Sr and Jr.
The race is packed due to the combined 1/10 and 1/8 racing, and the Master-class too.

This year the 1/8 World Championship was held in Lostallo, Switzerland.
The track had been opened since thursday, so we arrived at the track on wednesday evening in order to arrange everything in the container.
During the first days, until monday, we had four testing rounds per day. You know this is not much but fortunately we had already been there for the pre-worlds and for some other practice, so I already knew the track and we had also a good set-up to start with. Germany; NRW Challenge: Hepp wins 1/8 with 966 (01/09/2009)

Tobias Hepp took TQ ( Serpent 966) with 20 laps in 5.03,501 minutes which was more than a lap quicker in comparison to the 1/10 TQ of Weyhoven (19/5.08,369).
Hepp was followed by Frank Schewiola and Ralf Vahrenkamp also both with Serpent 966, in the three rounds of heats. In the 45 minutes final race Hepp did 172 laps, ten more than 1/10 winner Buerge. As after the heats it was Hepp in front of Schewiola and Vahrenkamp which made it an all-Serpent podium.
