
After winning the first two rounds of the South African Championships, the Mega powered Serpent drivers continued to dominate proceedings as they went to the third round of the series at the tight and tricky Durban track.
In 1:10 200mm the 720 showed its outstanding capability on a tight track, as Mike Wiseman TQ’d with his Mega powered example with his dad Dave Wiseman pushing him all the way qualifying 2nd fastest for an all Serpent front row.

The fourth running of the Dalton Touring Masters took place recently at the Jakarta International Twin Circuit and once again the Indonesian event was a huge success.

Young Italian star and Serpent 720 racer Alessio Mazzeo has marked himself as a future star of the sport after the current EC-B champion drove a sensational Main Final to finish on the podium at the 2007 EFRA 1:10 200mm European A Championships in Madrid. The highest placed Serpent driver finishing 3rd overall, Mazzeo also claimed the European Junior Championship crown to complete a superb week of highly competitive racing in style.

Serpent's two young stars Oscar Cabezas and Alessio Mazzeo have ensured that at least two Serpent 720s will race in tomorrow's all important European Championship Main Final in Madrid.

Serpent are pleased to announce that Amazónia Lisboa Hotel will again be the official hotel & HQ for the 2007 Serpent Nations Cup which takes place in Lisbon, Portugal, from November 9-11th.

Ireland is the first country to confirm that they will be represented at this year's Serpent Nations Cup which takes place in Lisbon, Portugal, from November 9th to 11th.
Hobbies Ireland, the Serpent distributor for Ireland, have announced that they will again field one 1:8 team and at least two 1:10 teams as the event introduces the class for the first time.

Former European Champion and Serpent 960 designer Michael Salven has TQ'd his creation for the 2007 EFRA 1:8 Onroad European Championships at Lostallo in Switzerland.
Salven used his Mega powered Serpent to produce a time of 15 laps in 5 minutes 8.758 seconds to top qualifying by 1 second from another of the sports great names Alberto Picco with Lamberto Collari, a former World Champion with Serpent, third.

Serpent and their new Swiss distributor Trading Tech hosted a BBQ yesterday on the eve of qualifying for the 2007 EFRA 1:8 Onroad European Championships to ensure drivers and their mechanics are well prepared for the busy days ahead.

Serpent factory driver Steven Cuypers tops qualifying at the 2007 EFRA 1:8 Onroad European Championships after posting the fastest time in the first round of heats.
The current Belgian National Champion put his Serpent 960 in provisional pole with a time of 15 laps in 5:15.750 to head the 123 car field.
Serpent also took the honours of being fastest in free practice for the prestigious event of which they are the reigning champions. Local star Markus Geisendorf posted the fastest practice run and continues his form with the sixth fastest time in the first round of qualifying.

The third round of the Serpent Korea Cup took place at the Kirina Circuit last weekend and it was Serpent's 720 and 960 that took the top honours.
Serpent Driver Development team member Nam SangJun dominated qualifying in the 30 degree plus temperatures TQ'ing for both classes with his Mega powered '07 chassis'.
