From 1 till 9 december 2012, the IFMAR WC for Buggy 1/8 Gp will be organised.
For Serpent only a small delegation is able to attend. For most driver its just to costly to travel there.
Serpent Cobra developer and ace-driver Billy Easton will attend with Joaquin DeSoto, the president of SerpentAmerica as his mechanic. Billy reached the final at the warm-up earlier this year. He mentioned that the warm-up was really tough, as the track is so different from any USA track. Last few months Billy worked mainly on the new 1/10 2wd buggy Serpent will release early 2013, but in between this work...

Serpent S120 LTX
The new release of the Serpent 1/12 car continues with the Link-Tube system and features a lower center of gravity and a more stable handling ( less aggressive), easier thus faster. For this the main pivot point of the S120 has been moved 8mm more forward. The chassis and motorpod are in ultra stiff 2mm carbon instead of 2.5mm, to lower the car more.

Serpent distributor SprintRC is organising the 2012 Serpent Nitro Cup in Battipaglia, near Naples in the southern part of Italy, 24 and 25 november 2012
All Serpent drivers are welcome to come and test, practise and race at this nice event, which will have a Limited Edition Serpent Nitro Cup T-shirt included, as well as great food and a super atmosfere.

Mark Green Double UK National Champion
Mark Green took TQ and the WIN last weekends final round of the UK National Championships at Mendip Raceway.
He is now Double UK Champion this year in both 200mm Touring Car with his SERPENT 747 and 1/8th with his SERPENT 966TE.
Both cars powered by NOVA ROSSI Engines and using XCEED Fuel and Tyres throughout the series.
Mark would like to thank all that supported him through the year, in particular his mechanic and good friend Chris Simons.
He is now looking forward to the 200mm Touring Car World Championships at the end of this month....

Serpent 747: chassis weights as tuning device
In the set-up of racing cars in general, weight distribution and balance is very important.
In the Serpent 747 I introduced an easy way to use this knowledge in a very quick way, so that the change of the weight distribution can be made very fast, but still secure, even during a pitstop if needed.
