The 4th round of the Hungarian Championship was held last weekend at Oroshaza. The weather was around 37-39°C during the day in the shadow. This together with the technical and bumpy track put a great pressure on both man and machine.
It was Gergely Cseko with Serpent 733 who was dominating the race winning each qualification runs and the final. Fellow Serpent teamate Cristian Faur ( 733) was running in an easy 2nd position when he lost his carburator screw due to the extreme vibrations and could not finish. After days of anxious waiting and lack of information, Billy Easton has finally showed up trackside early this morning. The late arrival caused ny numerous mistakes of the airlines and loosing his luggage in the process.
With his late arrival Billy has missed all the practice sessions as well as the qualifying runs. Leaving him with his work cut out for him today. Billy is, at the time of writing, bumping his way up the field from the very bottom of the lower finals.
By the end of this, Billy would've raced literally half of the field of FEMCA 2011. Billy managed a fast lap of 41 seconds...

The FEMCA 2011 race is in the books, and this is one Billy Easton will remember for a very long time.
Easton with Cobra finished 2nd with Go with Cobra in 14th place in the final. Mc Bride from AU took the win. Congratues.

Andreas Giesa from Germany had an excellent week at the Euro's.
He managed to be fastest in free paractise, qualifying, made fastest lap-time overall and also in the final, won the semi-final and then also the main final.
Congratulations.

Kyle Branson continues his string of race-wins this year. Also in qualifying he is the man to beat with his Serpent 966 / Sirio / Xcede package.
This race was no exception with Kyle taking TQ, followd by Team mate Tim Wood in 2nd with Serpent 966 /Xceed combo. Mark Green and Jason Frost make it 4 Serpent in the top 10. Green is saving all his good luck for the EC 2011 ...
In the final it was Branson taking the win with Wood in good 2nd, and also Frost and Green making it into the main.
Congratues to Kyle Branson and to runner up Tim.
