FABRICIO ZAMPERETTI IS THE BRAZILIAN CHAMPION LIGHT 2011 WITH 1/8 966 EVO.
The Brazilian National Championship was in the City of Indaiatuba-SP Brazil on 25 and 26 of June.
This year the Brazilian the organizers decided to make the championship in a single stage being divided in 2 categories, F2 / Ligth for less experienced pilots and the F1 / Racer for pilots with more experience.

Serpent designer Billy Easton will travel to beautifull Malaysia to race with Serpent Cobra Buggy and support the Asian drivers.
As 3rd biggest brand in the race already, the Cobra is becoming very popular in Asia as well.
Just back from the AMS 2011 race in Alabama, scoring a 4th place in both Buggy and Truggy, Easton had ample time to prepare for the FEMCA race, but prepared he will be, dont worry !
The Cobra Buggy is now in the market since last year june, and the progress with set-up is excellent. The knowledge database is growing.

Serpent ( Michael Salven ) designed a new super-light ( SL) gearbox for the Serpent 1/8 966 .
The current Serpent gearbox system has been in use for a very long time, and the Serpent design has become the industry standard, with small revisions only. Stronger engines, research, racing and new insights fueled the new gearbox design.
Goals were to reduce inertia, fluent power transfer and increase reliability even further .

European Nitro Challenge 2011: Germany.
Pietsch on Pole with Serpent Eberle in 2nd and Serpent Salven in 3rd.
Then in the final Salven with Serpent 966 takes win.
Eberle was revelation of the weekend. Very fast also in the final, but trying too hard and crashed.

You know the old saying, "you never get a second chance to make a first impression"...... well let me tell you, the Serpent S411 made a big first impression!
I got the car on Thursday, and wanted to go run it on Saturday night at Ripon Speedway but wasn't sure I could get the car built and ready to run that quickly. The car was an awesome build. every part had a perfect finish, no reaming or dremeling anything! It went together so quickly and easily, I even had time to paint 2 bodies on Saturday before heading to the track!

USA, AMS, great result for Team Serpent. Easton qualifies 4th in buggy and is 4th in Amain with JP in 7th ahead of Pavides and even Hara, well done.
In Truggy Easton races to a 4th place in the Amain, showing the great pace and reliability of the new Serpent Truggy.

TRCCA Round 2 Race report Taipei TAIWAN
Last weekend 19/20 June the 2nd round of Taiwan On-Road National Championship series traveled up north to Taipei, the capital city of Taiwan. The race was held at the large and techinal Er-Chong Public RC Race Track with its 90m+ straight and great combination of curves & hair Pins make it very high speed and challenging. The weather was sunny and perfect for the race but the 36+ centigrade together with the difficult track makes it extremely tough on both man and machine.
