Syach shows the way at Pre-FEMCA event (10/04/2007)

Team Serpent Indonesia driver Teddy Syach was in top form at the recent Pre FEMCA meeting held at the Jakarta International Twin Circuit.

The warm up event for the FEMCA Championship which take place later this year, the event was open to both 1:10 and 1:8 cars and Syach was the man to beat in both categories.

Driving his Mega powered 720 and 960 the Indonesian actor TQ'd both cars along with recording the fastest lap of the weekend for both classes.

Green leaves his Mark at opening BRCA 1:8 encounter (09/04/2007)

Fresh from winning the opening round of the British 1:10 National Championship last weekend, Mark Green continued his winning ways by dominating the opening round of the 1:8 Championship at Mendip on Sunday.

Driving his Serpent 960/Mega combination Green took the TQ position in the sunny conditions ahead of team-mate and defending British Champion Richard Hicklin.

In Main Final Green blitzed the opposition to win the 30 minute encounter by a massive 3-lap margin setting the fastest lap of the race enrounte to his third major victory in as many weeks.

Promising young Italian Serpent driver Andrea Cristiani got his 2007 National Championship campaign off to an impressive start over the weekend finishing on the podium with two of the sport's legends - Alberto Picco and 7 times World Champion Lamberto Collari.

Held at the Messina track and run to the ame format as the World Championships, the opening round saw the current European 1:8 B Champion qualify his Serpent 960 4th fastest with team-mate Massimo Fantini securing the 2nd fastest time during the heats which were of 10-minute duration.

2007 EFRA 1/10th On Road European Championships

This weekend sees the running of one of the most important EFRA GP's of the year when the ARCA track in Madrid plays host to the Spanish GP where later this year the 1:10 200mm European Championships will be run.

The ideal event for teams and drivers to prepare for the Euros, Serpent will be represented by a strong mixture of experience and youth in its driver line up for the 3 day event.

Heading the team is Serpent 720 chief designer Rene Cornella who will both race and provide technical support to all Serpent racers taking part.

Debut victory for new Serpent driver Eberle (03/04/2007)

Making his debut for Serpent recently, Philip Eberle got his new relationship off to the perfect start by winning first time out with his 720. Driving his Mega ZX powered example the young racer won the International AMT-Cup race in Sinsheim, Germany.

Supported by German Serpent importer 2-Speed, who helped him to get used to and set up his new car, Eberle posted the fastest lap on the indoor track in qualifying enroute to recording the fourth fastest heat and directly qualify on the second row of the grid for the main final.

Green wins British 1:10 National opener (02/04/2007)

Fresh from winning the 8th Worlds Warm Up title in Argentina, Mark Green carried on his winning ways coming home to the UK and taking a superb win in the opening round of the 2007 1:10 200mm National Touring Car Championships.

Held over the weekend at the Tibshelf track in the heart of Derbyshire. With all the top UK drivers present Mark showed that even using borrowed race equipment, his was still in transit from the Pre Worlds, he was still the man to beat.

Serpent Driver Development racer Kyle Branson got his 2007 British 1:10 200mm National Championship campaign off to a strong start at Tibshelf yesterday by finishing a strong 4th in the opening round.

Driving his Mega powered Serpent 720, the 13-year-old reigning European Junior Champion qualified 6th fastest of the 80 car field to secure a spot in the all important A final.

Happy with the set-up on his car and performance of his Mega engine around the Tibshelf track, Kyle made the most of the combination to come home 4th to open his 2007 account with a healthy points balance.

2007 EFRA 1/8th On Road European Championships B

Serpent are pleased to announce they will support the 2007 EFRA European 1:8 IC Track B Championship in Tolmin, Slovenia, having signed a deal with the race organisers to become one of the main sponsors of the May 25-27 event.
