Serpent's 720 has TQ'd for the 2007 Florida Winternats following a stunning final qualifying run by leading Serpent team driver Paolo Morganti.
Lying second overnight, Morganti pulled out all the stops in his final run to go top of the time sheets and secure pole position for the A-Main final.
Backing up Morganti's performance, Danny Horta made great use of his local track knowledge to secure 4th fastest time. Horta is a multiple finalist at the Winternats and is looking very strong for the A-Main final. Both drivers are using Max based engines to power their 720 around the demanding Fort...

Paolo Morganti and Michael Salven head the Team Serpent challenge for success at the 2007 Florida Winternats.
The defending 1:10 champion, Morganti improved his time in day two of qualifying (Wednesday) to jump two places and go second on the time sheets. Unfortunately in round 3 and 4 of qualifying for the 1:8 category Morganti was unable to improve on his time as others did and he drops from 2nd to 6th in the overall times.

Serpent TQ at FEMCA Qualifier in Singapore (13/02/2007)

The first qualifying race for the FEMCA Championship took place in Singapore recently and the Serpent 960 proved itself as the fastest car.
In qualifying Sam Cheng TQ'd his RB powered example while Jesse Wu clocked the fastest lap of the event to break the track record with a time of 17.6 seconds.

After 2 rounds of qualifying Team Serpent are looking in good shape at the 2007 Florida Winternats with Danny Horta heading their 1:10 challenge and Paolo Morganti their leading 1:8 driver.
Both drivers currently hold second place at the head of the time sheets with Morganti having held the no.1 spot in both class after the first qualifying run.

Serpent showed its latest product releases at the 2007 Nürnberg Toyfair in Germany.
Main product releases were the superb looking 1/8 scale Formula car which will be available as Kit-version, with or without Mega FT-28 rotostart engine, and as Ready to Race version. All versions will include the large F180 pit-bag with nylon drawer and trolley system. More info will be published in the next few weeks.
Also on show were the latest versions of the Serpent 960 and Serpent 720, both with some small updates, and the Serpent 835 in Porsche Supercup guise.

Serpent will be at the 2007 Nürnberg Toyfair (30/01/2007)

Starting from tomorrow, Serpent will be present once more at the worlds biggest Toy-Fair in Nürnberg, Germany.
Running until the 6th February, Serpent will play host to almost all Serpent Distributors worldwide, a large number of suppliers, the RC press and many other guests.
At the show Serpent will launch the final version of the long awaited F180 1/8th scale Formula car and some other hot new items.
If you are going to the fair, you can visit us at Stand B59, Hall 7.

Serpent has put together an impressive team for next months Florida Winternats. The annual event which has now established itself at the first major nitro race responsible for kickstarting each new season runs from February 11-17th.

Not being able to do any nitro racing since September it was great to be on the track again. Starting my trip in Sweden with a quick stop at the Serpent factory in Holland on my way to Bangkok Thailand and the Serpent Asia Nitro Tour of 2007. While at the track it was great fun to meet up old friends again, especially the old buddies from Korea who I hadn't seen for several years! Also talking a lot with my good friends from Serpent Indonesia...
