
Race 4 of the Forgass Florida State Series, held at Homestead RC Speedway over the weekend, saw Team Serpent USA complete a fantastic double, winning both the 1:10 Sedan and 1:8 Open events.
With no less than eight Serpent 720/Mega combinations making up the 12 car 1:10 A Main grid it was D.J. Apolaro who took the win. Driving his MF version Mega, Apolaro led home fellow Serpent racer Danny Horta, who was using a ZX version Mega power unit, to give Serpent/Mega a superb 1-2 finish.

The end of an era is almost upon us. myTSN, the rc community site that saw millions of visitors read reports from racers around the world, is about to be taken off the cyberwaves.

Held right on our doorstep at one of Europe's best tracks, the MACH in Heemstede, Serpent brought world famous RC video producer Ray Wood over from Australia.

Serpent drivers made the most of difficult conditions over the weekend to dominate the 'Alcobendas el 5º Open PSF' held in Madrid, Spain, over the weekend. A major event on the Spanish RC motorsport calendar the event attracted 127 racers.
Top international racer Carlos Peracho dominated the 1:8 class. TQ'ing his Serpent 960 for the main final he went on to win the event from fellow 960 racer Alberto Gonzalez.

Former European Champion Massimo Fantini took his Serpent 960 to a superb win at the ‘Trofeo dei Campioni’ race held at in Cassino, Italy last weekend.

Serpent is pleased to announced details of the first of its hugely successful Nitro Tour events for 2007. Bangkok, Thailand will host this fun event on January 13/14 at the Srinakarin Track which is set to feature an all new layout for the race.
Organised in association with Asia Model (Thailand) and World Model (Hongkong) the event is expected to attract 90 Serpent racers.

Having come to the attention of Serpent in 2005 during the 1:10 European Championship at Halifax, the youngster was selected for Serpent's new Serpent Driver Development program which was created to help develop the talents of rc racing next generation of World Championship racers.

John Sotiropoulos driving a Serpent 960FD powered by a Mega ZX21 is the 2006 ELME Greek 1:8 National Champion. The win is the 5th Greek 1:8 title success for Serpent with Giannis Orfanos (95-96) and Marios Stergiou (97-98) having secured the crown for the specialist Dutch competition RC car manufacturer.

Serpent is introducing a number of combo-packs with the Serpent 835 racing chassis.
Many racers still feel this class is the best around, being fast, affordable and still sheer fun!! Easy to handle and set-up, makes it so much easier than 200mm or 1/8 scale. The longer and wider chassis combined with more rubber (wider tyres-wheels) make this happen.
Re-invented as GT3 class, this will get more racers into this class again with a European Championship (Germany) in GT3 to top of the 2007 season. Carrera Cup or GT3 cup, here we come...
