
For the next round of our national championship we went across the border to the beautiful track of M.C.C Kochelscheuer in luxemburg , where the Euro 1/8 has been in 2004. Were always looking forward to race on this fast and technical track.

The opening two days of the 1/8th European 'B' Championships at Carole in France have seen Serpent at the top of the time sheets.
On Tuesday Dutch driver Jordy Blok was fastest with his Serpent 960 Mega DSII combination while on Wednesday Italian driver Cristiani Marcello, also driving a 960, set the pace.
The Mega DSII is proving itself to be the fastest engine at the 345m long Carole circuit with one driver so impressed with its speed that he has switched to Mega for the remainder of the event.
Weather conditions at the Carole circuit have so far been dry but unfortunately rain...

Cristian Faur and Péter Takács took a win each in the latest round of the Hungarian Serpent Series held at Dunaújváros last weekend.
Making his debut in the Series, Faur took victory in the 1/8th category from Gergő Timár who now holds a slender one point advantage at the head of the standings from Round 1 winner and current champion Tibor Bognár. Viktor Juhász driving a Veteq completed the podium.
In the 1/10th Series, Takács claimed his second straight victory to open up a four point lead over Csedő András who was second on this occassion. Third went to Zoltán Bognár.

Serpent Driver Development duo Sebastian Brixner and Kyle Branson will both contest this weekend's European 1/8th B Championships at Carole in France and it will be a very different experience for both these young talents.

Reigning Slovenian Serpent Series Junior Champion Nejc Mihelič got his 2006 campaign off to a perfect start by claiming overall victory in the opening round of the 2006 Series at Tolmin recently.
The event which attracted 23 drivers, enjoyed fine weather conditions for qualifying with Junior driver Luka Sajovic taking pole.
Heavy rain arrived for the finals with pole sitter Sajovic a casualty of the water which caused him electrical problems. This left Mihelič to storm home to a superb victory ahead of Izidor Tratnik with another Junior driver Nejc Obid securing the final podium...

Bart Van Echelpoel secured victory in the second round of the Belgian Serpent 235mm Series at Leudelange over the weekend making it two of two for the Wijnegem driver.
Pole sitter Van Echelpoel won the event from Willy Wuyts who claimed his first podium of the season, a result which moves him into joint second in the standings with Luc Steylaerts who finished fifth on this occassion.
Making his first appearance in the Series, Toon Deyaert enjoy a strong outing claiming the points for third place. Following him home was another series debutant Leo Heremans.

Robin d'Hondt was also very quick taking 2nd place with his Mega MF21 MasMO powered Serpent 960. He is now contending the EFRA EC-B near Paris and with some luck should be well able to reach the final. More this week ...
Richard Keur, Serpents commercial manager took victory in the latest round of the Dutch 1/10 Champs, taking a 3 lap lead with his Mega MF12 MasMo powered Serpent 710.
Rain spoiled the practise partially on suturday, but sunday was fine weather.
Around 35 drivers took part in the 1/10 scale races and another 25 in the Sport-cup 1/8 scale which was won by young local hero van Dijk.
