Paolo Morganti was in great shape in 1/8 scale class in Chaplin USA.
Morganti taking TQ honors with Serpent 966 ahead of DJ, Toso, Soto Jr, Burch, Schwauger, Tiskali, Lemieux and many other ace drivers.
In the final Morganti kept a very high pace with his Serpent 966-TE, only dropping few times to 2nd place after a fuel-stop, and creating a gap of 2 laps in the end of the hard harging Carpri's.

Last weekend saw the Swedish onroad elite gather for the final round of the Swedish national cup series, held at the superfast track in the city of Orebro.
Saturday was qualifying day, great weather and the track and been prepared with additives for maximum traction, actually so high that several of the 1:10 cars tractionrolled.
After some rounds of racing the track got more normal with a mix of fuel and tires on it.
The track has a very long straight and open corners so laptimes differ only a little among the top drivers, enginepower and correct gear-ratio becomes crusial to perform and...

USA Nationals gas-onroad 2011: Michael Salven is at the USA nationals to support the Serpent drivers in 1/10 and 1/8 scale onroad. The race in Chaplin is badly affected by rain and forecast is bad too. Let hope it will turn for the better, so racing can get underway soon. liverc.com will do live-timing when qualifying starts.
For Serpent Scott Kimbrow and Paolo Morganti are the ace drivers, in both classes. Many other top-drivers around, so will be a super race.

After so many years had past ,The First Nitro Truggy Nationals is back and was held on Sept 11,2011 at Circulo Verde Raceway.
Indeed a very successful event for the Nitro truggy . A very wet and rainy week but during the raceday, the event was blessed with a very good weather condition. Racers came as early as 6 a.m to prepare their truggies. Before the Nats, familiar names like Jordan Go with his Hongnor X2 , Nova toro nero and Clemen Pancho with his Serpent,Technopower were the favorite contenders for the Nats , but Jordan with his 10 yrs old kit could not be so sure. Before the race started,...

This weekend, Serpent Spain Team took part in the 4rd Madrid Championship, which was held at Serracines track.
A large track with 50sec/lap, and a special surface: very slippery and bumpy.
After practice rounds, we were very confident after finding a good and comfortable setup. Our feelings was right when our youngest Serpent driver, Oscar Navarro (11 years-olded), was TQ'd on Q1, while Alberto García could not able to run the Q1 because a battery failure.
For the next qualification rounds, Oscar Navarro was able to get another fantastic 2nd place, behind former European Champion, Daniel...
