Glyn Beal takes British title with Serpent 733
Glyn Beal has successfully defended his Sports GT title after victory at the Colchester circuit.
Round 7 of the British Nationals were at the Colchester circuit on the 10th / 11th September. The weather for the weekend was mainly dry and sunny and in qualifying Glyn took a comfortable FTD with his 220mm Serpent 733.
In the final Glyn got an excellent start off the line and soon opened up a decent lead. At the end of the 30 minute race Glyn took the win several laps ahead of second place. With this result Glyn has now retained the title for the...
After so many years had past ,The First Nitro Truggy Nationals is back and was held on Sept 11,2011 at Circulo Verde Raceway.
Indeed a very successful event for the Nitro truggy . A very wet and rainy week but during the raceday, the event was blessed with a very good weather condition. Racers came as early as 6 a.m to prepare their truggies. Before the Nats, familiar names like Jordan Go with his Hongnor X2 , Nova toro nero and Clemen Pancho with his Serpent,Technopower were the favorite contenders for the Nats , but Jordan with his 10 yrs old kit could not be so sure. Before the race started,...
This weekend, Serpent Spain Team took part in the 4rd Madrid Championship, which was held at Serracines track.
A large track with 50sec/lap, and a special surface: very slippery and bumpy.
After practice rounds, we were very confident after finding a good and comfortable setup. Our feelings was right when our youngest Serpent driver, Oscar Navarro (11 years-olded), was TQ'd on Q1, while Alberto García could not able to run the Q1 because a battery failure.
For the next qualification rounds, Oscar Navarro was able to get another fantastic 2nd place, behind former European Champion, Daniel...
Heitor Nogueira became Vice-Champion 2011 in Buggy with Cobra past weekend.
Leading and fighting for the win all the one hour final long, to become 2nd in the end. Very well done.
Heitor also made the Truggy Final with Serpent Cobra-T, but a big crash in the final took away chances for a good result.
Back in October for the Open international South American Champs in Chile, where also Billy Easton will run and support Serpent drivers.

Michael Salven gave himself a perfect birth-day (50) present by winning the 2011 German 1/10 scale Nations in Kirchhain. The same track where he won his 1st ever 1/8 scale German title many years ago.
Salven with Serpen 733/XceedZX qualified in 3rd, with Pietsch TQ and Wichnesvski in 2nd with almost nothing between this top-3. Very close.
Round 6 of the British 200mm Nationals were held on the 27th / 28th August at the excellent Stonehaven circuit up in Scotland.
Saturdays practice was held under dry conditions despite the forecast being for rain. Traction was ok to start off with and it wasn’t long before all cars were up to racing pace. Due to the nature of the Stonehaven track, tyre wear is really high so many drivers worked on trying to reduce this for Sunday’s finals.
Due to overnight rain qualifying was run under damp and greasy conditions. I managed to win all 4 rounds of qualifying to take FTD with my Serpent 733.
Shortly...

Fischer Race report
Practise
Thursday was hard day for most drivers, as track had tons of grip and many traction rolled the cars. We went trough the planned test-program and end of day set-up was good, but not good enough yet for A-main for my feeling.
For friday after spending some thought on set-up night before we made some serious set-up changes, and went through another set of tests. Now its felt really much better right away, also over full 5 minutes, should be good enough for A-main.
Friday, 2 heats:
Heat 1: I ran easy and smooth just to...
