Last weekend was the sedan nats, held in Compton, California. It was a little different because we had a brand new car that we had never tested before. The track layout looked really nice and flowing, but the track was really bumpy in three high speed parts.

Race was 16/06/2006, positon is:
1 - Jiang Dong /V One RRR / Sirio
2 - Jose Assis /Serpent 710 / Mega Zx 12
3 - Chan Soi Weng /V One RRR / RB

This race was going to be very exciting for me as i had been given the opportunity to race the new 720 .The frist run with the car was on tuesday which was very hot 30+',not what i expected,to get used to the car and track i decided to run in engine's.
After the frist run i was amazed at how different the 720 is to drive, the 720 is just so easy, steering, brakes, also working on the car is much faster and easiser.
Wednesday was wet so no testing.

Next weekend, June 24/25th, the Serpent Nitro Tour makes a return visit to France when Bourg en Bresse hosts a second leg of the 2006 tour.

Organised in association with Serpent's French distributors RB Products, the Nitro Tour is open to all Serpent 1/8, 1/10 200mm and 1/10 235mm cars. The event aims to provide competitors with a fun event and offer support to all racers, from expert driver to carpark racer.

After a long winter finally the day came we could show our new ride. After running quite a lot with the prototype over the winter months we'd now be able to see where we stand with the 720. And judging from the results we're not doing too bad! So first of all a great compliment to Rene Cornella for designing a super car.
