The annual season opener for the Scandinavian nitro season was held in Staffanstorp in Sweden as usuall, some years we get really nice weather other years we get snow.... :) This time it was something in the middle.

The second edition of the Serpent Nitro Tour 'The Netherlands' took place over the weekend at the MACH and once again the event was a huge success with 66 drivers taking part.

The Florida State Series, one of the oldest series in USA, has just concluded the 30th season. With almost 100 racers at each event, the series was run from September thru April.
The competition was really hard, but Team Serpent was able win the Championship in all classes.
In the Outlaw class, Lance Dietrich, driving a Serpent 710 with a Mega ZX12, was able to easily dominate since the first event.
In Sedan, DJ Apolaro was the man to beat. His Mega ZX12 powered Serpent 710 performed really strong the entire season giving no chance to the competitors

Michael Salven TQ-ed the 1/8 race with S960/Mega ZX21, followed by Meister and 4th place Brixner (SDDriver) both also with S960/Mega.
As it rained afterwards, the qualifying was also the end-result, so 2nd win for Salven this year.
Germany, Berlin
Victory for Mirko Morgenstern Serpent 960/Mega ZX, Toni Gruber and Gerrit Gruber 3rd and 4th with Serpent and Holder Richter in 5th spot with Serpent.
In 1/10 scale it was Ralf Krause setting the pace with a TQ in 21 laps and a superb victory 2 laps ahead on Pfeil.

Last weekend the first Belgian championship was held at the track of Houthalen racing team. Our season started nearly two months later then last year whitch gave us more hope for a good weatherforecast. The track is very technical and surrounded by wooden barrels whitch makes it very dangerous , your first mistake is often also your last one.That’s why it’s important to make the car very easy to drive , if you have to fight with it, you probably won’t make it for 30 minutes.
